Since 3,500 calories equals about 1 pound, you
need to burn 3,500 calories more than you take in to loose 1
pound . If you were to cut 500 calories from your diet every
day, you could loose about 1 pound a week.
Cutting calories is actually quite simple:
- Eat smaller portions
- Go for lower calorie options
- Eat small, frequent, balanced meals
- You should eat 5-6 times a day
WATER, WATER, WATER!!
- Water naturally suppresses your appetite and helps your
body metabolize fat that you're storing
- You should drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses a day. Spread out
throughout the day.
A balanced meal should consist of 1 part fat, 2 parts protein,
and 3 parts carbohydrates.
